JACK THE RIPPER
Introduction
One of the small and peaceful places in London also has Whitechapel roads on their list. But soon the place became a living hell with many social tensions like bloody Sunday, crime, nativism , racism and became a place of immortality. People of the Jewish and Irish residence took over Whitechapel, which lead to overcrowding and the parish now had 80,000 inhabitants which was a lot for a small district in London. Soon due to lack of facilities more than 55 percent of children died before the age of 5. The dark cloud of robbery and violence took over the Whitechapel district and soon a calm place became the main center of prostitution. For the women, being a prostitute was their only way of survival, later 62 brothels were constructed and 1,200 women became prostitutes.
Elizabeth smith
On the very beginning of 3rd April 1888, the Scotland yard found a injured women half murdered in Osborn street and later smith was taken to the London hospital where she had her last words. She stated that she was attacked by two to three men and one of them was a teenager. Elizabeth was robbed and was sexually assaulted. This made the people frightened for their lives without knowing that Whitechapel will be well known for this case which will never be solved.
Tabram
The next murder happened in the staircase landing of George yard on 7th of August 1888. Tabram was brutally murdered with 39 stab wounds on her throat, lungs, heart, liver, and the cuts of an additional knife on her vagina and breasts. The Met police found that the used weapon would have been a pen knife
Jack the ripper
This is not the real name of the killer as he was never found and still remains as the most classic in the case files of unsolved mysteries. He is an unidentified character who claims to be the murderer of all these cases and the upcoming once. All the murders happened between 3rd April 1888 to 13th February 1891.As no one knows his real name the local people call him as jack the ripper, Whitechapel murderer and the leather apron. His profound victims were the prostitutes of the East end of London city. He usually killed his victims by stabbing two deep cuts on their throats and cuts in till the abdominal mutilations. In some cases of his murders, organ trafficking has taken place and with this the Scotland yards found that he is somewhat related with surgical operations. Among all the 11 murders that occurred and was investigated Jack left no traces back and he killed his victims on the perfect timings that no soul could notice.
The first eye witness
Mary Ann Nicholas was found dead in the Buck's row around 3:40AM approximately but was seen being alive before an hour of discovery. Ann's throat was deeply cut and she was the first victim of the CANONICAL FIVE.
Annie chapman's lifeless body was discovered on 8th September 1888 on a Saturday approximately around 6AM near the doorway to the backyard of 29 Hanbury streets. Autopsy later revealed that her uterus and section of her bladder and vagina were removed.
Imagine being the one and only eye witness of a case that will be unsolved and be a classic serial killer case in history for over than a century? That would be how Elizabeth Long, the only eye witness of this case would have felt. Elizabeth stated that she saw Annie on that very place where her body was found, around 5:30AM talking with a dark haired man, wearing a brown deerstalker hat and a dark overcoat asking Annie "WILL YOU?" and Annie answering "YES" to it
Canonical five
The five canonical victims were Mary Ann Nicholas, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. Among all the 11 murders these 5 are said to be promisingly done by Jack the ripper himself as these five murders have so many similarities among them. All the murders took place at nights and it comes close to the end of a week or even a month. The murders became brutal as continued.
Later after every murder, the cops received letters from no address claiming themselves to be Jack the ripper and the letter "FROM HELL" is one of the most famous letters received by the cops in this case. Were the letters really from the unidentified killer? or just the journalist trying to make the case more interesting to the readers? No one really knows what happened all those night? Who the killer was? The answers to all these questions are only with the victims and Jack the ripper himself.
After the murder of Mary Jane Kelly, the murders finally had a full stop. Then no one knew what happened to Jack the ripper and the case was unsolved for centuries. He left no trace of what he did and left without any trace of where he was.
WAS THERE REALLY A KILLER WHO KILLED ALL THE 11 PEOPLE OR WAS IT JUST RANDOM PEOPLE BEING KILLED?OR WAS THERE SOMETHING THE POLICE HID BEHIND THE CURTAINS? WHY DIDN'T ANY OF THE LETTER HAD THE ADDRESS?
The questions goes on as the case is closed in BTE
